Convergence of a Sequence of Sets in a Hadamard Space and the Shrinking Projection Method for a Real Hilbert Ball

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2010
We propose a new concept of set convergence in a Hadamard space and obtain its equivalent condition by using the notion of metric projections. Applying this result, we also prove a convergence theorem for an iterative scheme by the shrinking projection ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Occlusion-based model weighting for volumetric additive manufacturing around inserts

open access: yesVirtual and Physical Prototyping
Additive manufacturing is used to add polymer material around pre-existing inserts in many patient-specific and case-specific applications. Tomographic Volumetric Additive Manufacturing (VAM) technology is a suitable process for printing around inserts ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

DR_PVNet: An Improved PVNet Network for Weakly Textured Object Pose Estimation in Indoor Complex Environments

open access: yesIEEE Access
6D pose estimation of objects is an essential task in computer vision. However, estimating the 6D pose of a weakly textured object from an image is challenging due to the occluded environment and the weakly textured appearance.
