Targeting the NAT1‐ENO1‐Lactate Axis Destabilizes PD‐L1 to Reinvigorate Antitumor Immunity in Colorectal Cancer

NAT1 downregulates PD‐L1 protein expression by acetylating ENO1, which inhibits lactate‐fueled TRAF6/PD‐L1 signaling (left). Conversely, NAT1 deficiency in CRC cells enhances ENO1 activation, leading to increased glycolysis and lactate production. The lactate then binds to TRAF6, promoting its oligomerization and activation.

Three novel malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) cell lines (PUMC‐MESO1, PUMC‐MESO3, and PUMC‐MESO4) were established from patient‐derived pleural effusions. All three cell lines expressed mesothelioma markers (calretinin, WT1, and D2‐40) and showed BAP1 loss of expression.
