CHARMM-GUI Micelle Builder for Pure/Mixed Micelle and Protein/Micelle Complex Systems
Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling, 2013Micelle Builder in CHARMM-GUI, http://www.charmm-gui.org/input/micelle , is a web-based graphical user interface to build pure/mixed micelle and protein/micelle complex systems for molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. The robustness of Micelle Builder is tested by simulating four detergent-only homogeneous micelles of DHPC (dihexanoylphosphatidylcholine)

Triggered ferroptotic polymer micelles for reversing multidrug resistance to chemotherapy.
Biomaterials, 2019Drug-tolerant persister cancer cells (PCCs) play an important role in the development of multidrug resistance (MDR) to anti-cancer drugs. This is due to the strong link between PCCs formation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), as well as the ...

Annual Review of Physical Chemistry, 1992
We have shown that there is a close relationship between the surfactant film properties, the bulk structures, the interfacial tension with oil (or water) and even the dynamic properties in micellar and microemulsion systems. The evolution from spherical micelles to tubular, cubic, lamellar or sponge phases is now qualitatively well understood.

Coexistence of small micelles with large micelles
The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1988Analyse detaillee du quasar 3C 273 par plaques electronographiques UBV a haute resolution (FWHM≃1''). De nouvelles composantes du jet optique ont ete detectees et les indices de couleur U-B et B-V sont constants sur tout le jet sauf pour un point a 15.4'' du quasar plus bleu que le reste de 0.3 nag.

Thermodiffusion of Charged Micelles
Physical Review Letters, 2005We study diffusion of charged nanoparticles in a temperature gradient and derive the corresponding Ludwig-Soret transport coefficient. Charge effects are found to enhance thermodiffusion by up to 2 orders of magnitude. We show that the inverse Soret coefficient 1/S(T) is a linear function of the colloid density n; the proportionality factor, or second ...

The Blood Clearance Kinetics and Pathway of Polymeric Micelles in Cancer Drug Delivery.
ACS Nano, 2018Polymer micelles are one of the most investigated nanocarriers for drug delivery; many have entered clinical trials and some are in clinic use, but their delivery systems have not yet shown the expected high therapeutic efficacy in clinics.

A phosphate-induced sub-micelle-micelle equilibrium in reconstituted casein micelle systems
Journal of Dairy Research, 1979SUMMARYIn reconstituted casein systems, complete sub-micelles were previously observed only under extreme conditions of ionic strength, namely a NaCl concentration of 2 M or greater. However, studies with the analytical ultracentrifuge on phosphate-containing casein systems revealed that under certain conditions, a stable sub-micelle-micelle ...
