Interactome Profiling of a Lysine Deacetylase Trapping Probe Library Uncovers Crosstalk Between HDAC6 and NF‐κB Signaling

We designed a peptide probe library containing hydroxamic acids based on putative substrate sites of lysine deacetylase HDAC6. Analyzing substrate selectivity and turnover combined with proteomics profiling resulted in identification of novel HDAC6 interaction partners, such as components of the transcription factor NF‐κB.
