Serial protein crystallography in an electron microscope
For conventional three-dimensional microcrystal electron diffraction (3D ED/MicroED), a crystal is slowly rotated under an electron beam, leading to inevitable accumulation of radiation damage during data collection.

On the Structural Evolution Mechanism of Lignin‐Derived Hard Carbon for Refining Sodium‐Ion Storage
The lignin‐derived hard carbons with different microstructures were prepared under different carbonization temperature (600°C–1600°C) and carbonization time (0–6 h). The correlation between the local structure of all hard carbons and sodium‐ion storage performance was statistically analyzed. The optimized hard carbon anode has high‐rate performance and

A case of extensive synovial involvement by tophaceous gout
Gout is the most common form of microcrystal arthropathy that results in deposition of uric acid crystals in and around the joints and soft tissues. The most common cause is decreased uric acid clearance by the kidneys. The radiological manifestations of

NMR of magnetically oriented microcrystals
We review solid-state NMR of magnetically oriented microcrystals. Three-dimensional alignment makes experiments virtually equivalent to single-crystal NMR possible even if the sample of interest is polycrystalline. This leads to characterization of electronic structure through determination of chemical shift and electric-field gradient tensors.
