The VHL tumor suppressor at the crossroad of protein folding, aggregation, and cancer
Mutations, environmental stress, and chaperone dysfunction can destabilize pVHL, promoting its conversion from the native folded state into amyloid‐like assemblies. This transition may contribute to protein storage, cell dormancy, survival, and drug resistance.

The Econometric Analysis of Microscopic Simulation Models [PDF]
Microscopic simulation models are often evaluated based on visual inspection of the results. This paper presents formal econometric techniques to compare microscopic simulation (MS) models with real-life data.A related result is a methodology to compare ...

Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.

Adding intermodality to the microscopic simulation package SUMO [PDF]
It is shown how the traffc simulation SUMO which traditionally focused on individual road traffc could be extended to serve the purpose of a general traffic simulation (including transport of individual persons) while retaining most of in- and output

Study of pedestrian-vehicle interaction behaviour by microscopic simulation modelling
Walking is healthy, environmentally beneficial and sustainable to human society. Travellers increasingly are being encouraged to walk more. However, pedestrians’ interaction with motorised vehicles is a major constraint to their movement. Many innovative

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF ROUNDABOUTS USING A MICROSCOPIC SIMULATION MODEL [PDF]
Contemporary planning of the road network in cities assumes the use of transport models. The microscopic model allows provision of information and decision-making regarding, for example, emissions, traffic organisation, geometrics of the intersection and
