Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

A multifunctional nanoagonist (cDZ@IP) enables nano‐metabolite–driven multimodal activation of the STING pathway and enhanced immune recognition, achieving potent antitumor immunity and suppressing tumor growth and metastasis. This strategy highlights the rational design of therapeutic metabolites and establishes a new paradigm bridging nanomedicine ...

ESCRT‐Mimetic Nanodegrader Targets STING for Anti‐Inflammatory Therapy
A nanoplatform‐enabled targeted protein degradation strategy is presented to regulate aberrant STING signaling. STING‐ATTEC induces selective autophagic degradation of STING via formation of a STING–ATTEC–LC3 ternary complex, while the cationic FA‐LNP+ system enhances LC3 generation and targeted delivery. Together, this synergistic approach efficiently

Influence of model selection on optimal control of traffic for emissions minimisation
The coupling of microscopic traffic simulation models with emission models offers a powerful tool for assessing and optimising traffic control strategies to reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions.

A hybrid numerical method for a microscopic and macroscopic traffic flow model
In this paper, we introduce a traffic flow model based on a microscopic follow-the-leader model, while enforcing maximal constraints on the density and velocity of the flow. The related macroscopic model can be represented in conservative formulation.

Improving pedestrian facilities at signalised crossings
Traffic signal control systems are usually designed to maximise vehicle capacity and minimise vehicle delay with the needs of pedestrians considered separately as necessary.

Multi‐omic profiling of T1 high‐grade bladder cancer identifies a high‐risk subtype (T1HG1) driven by NQO1, which couples anoikis resistance with immune evasion. NQO1 orchestrates macrophage–T cell crosstalk suppression via CXCL9 modulation. Pharmacological NQO1 inhibition with skullcapflavone II enhances cisplatin efficacy, representing a promising ...

Stop-and-go driving behaviour: initial findings from floating vehicle trials
This research is part of the work of STARDUST, an EU project aimed at assessing the extent to which Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Vehicle Guidance (AVG) systems can contribute to sustainable urban development.

Slow‐transit constipation (STC) is a disabling motility disorder with unclear smooth‐muscle mechanisms. Spatial proteomic analysis of STC patient colon reveals both the central pathogenic role of smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in STC and novel regulators of intestinal motility, BIN1 and ALDH1B1.
