Aptamer‐Directed Porous DNA Nanocomposite Hydrogel for Active Pulp Preservation: Immunomodulation, Stem Cell Recruitment and Reparative Dentinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an injectable DNA‐based porous hydrogel integrating catechol motifs and targeting aptamers for pulpitis management. Upon in situ crosslinking, the scaffold actively recruits endogenous dental pulp stem cells, restores redox homeostasis, and modulates immune responses.

DRACULA Microscopic Traffic Simulator [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
The DRACULA traffic simulator is a microscopic model in that the vehicles are individually represented. The movement of vehicles in the network are represented continuously and updated every one second. \ud \ud The network is modelled as a set of nodes and links which represent junctions and streets respectively. Vehicles are generated at their origins

Pathogen‐Centric Activation of an Azoreductase‐Responsive Antibody‐Antibiotic Conjugate for the Targeted Eradication of MRSA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pathogen‐centric antibody‐antibiotic conjugate (AZO‐AAC) releases antibiotics via bacterial azoreductase, independent of host‐lysosomal function. This mechanism achieves nanomolar eradication of both planktonic and intracellular methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

H2S‐Amplified “Three‐in‐One” Antibacterial Strategy for Periodontitis Treatment Using a Photosensitive Pillararene‐Embedded COF/MOF Hybrid

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The integration of ROS‐generating systems with H2S depletion strategies effectively overcomes the limitations imposed by endogenous antioxidant defenses on ROS‐based antimicrobial therapies. In this study, the Cu‐MOF is incorporated into pillararene‐embedded COF, achieving a “three‐in‐one” antimicrobial effect that markedly alleviated periodontal ...

Calibration of Microscopic Traffic Simulation in an Urban Environment Using GPS-Data

open access: yesSUMO Conference Proceedings
Accurate traffic models are of decisive importance for well-founded traffic engineering and represent the basic framework for comprehensive simulation studies as modelling of traffic demand. Using traffic count and speed measurements of road segments is

Exploring the Effects of Traffic Density on Merging Behavior

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of merging behavior on the freeway under different traffic densities has been conducted. First, the influence of traffic density on merging parameters (namely merging position, merging speed, merging duration, and ...

Oligopeptides/DNA Coacervate Droplets as Macromolecular Delivery Microcarriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oligopeptide–DNA coacervates formed via liquid–liquid phase separation serve as programmable carriers for macromolecular cargos, entering cells through lipid raft–associated pathways and subsequently undergoing enzyme triggered intracellular disassembly driven by DNA degradation processes, thereby enabling efficient, controlled, and spatially defined ...

Microscopic Modeling and Simulation of Pedestrian Traffic

open access: yes, 2013
Walking is an environmentally friendly and important mode of transportation. It constitutes the first and last part of almost any trip, regardless of what the main mode of transport is, and is espe ...
