Modeling microstrip circuits and microstrip antennas on cylindrical substrates

1986 Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 1986
The subject of modelling microstrip circuits and antennas on cylindrical substrates is considered. Two efficient methods are presented which overcome the heretofore existing convergence problems for the evaluation of near field quantities. The characterization of microstrip transmission lines, associated discontinuities and microstrip line fed ...

Microstrip circuits on micromachined silicon

Digest of Papers. 2004 Topical Meeting onSilicon Monolithic Integrated Circuits in RF Systems, 2004., 2004
Fully monolithic integration of a millimeter wave system on silicon requires low loss passive circuitry. Transmission line elements are needed to interconnect active devices and to realize distributed passive components. Using bulk micromachining and high resistivity silicon on insulator (SOI) wafers, well defined thin silicon membranes can be ...

NGD Analysis of Turtle-Shape Microstrip Circuit

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2020
A negative group delay (NGD) design of a turtle shape circuit topology is developed in this brief. The topology is comprised of two different length transmission lines (TLs) interconnecting two identical coupled lines (CLs). The S-matrix model is established as a function of the TL and CL parameters.
