Phospholipids of the thermophilic fungusMucor miehei

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2000
The composition of phospholipids synthesized by the mycelial fungusMucor miehei at various cultivation temperatures is studied. It is demonstrated that the content of unsaturated fatty acids in the total increases at low temperatures (26 C).

Biotransformation of oleanolic and maslinic acids by Rhizomucor miehei

Phytochemistry, 2013
Microbial transformation of oleanolic acid by Rhizomucor miehei produced three metabolites. A known compound, a 30-hydroxyl derivative (queretaroic acid), and two 7β,30- and 1β,30-dihydroxylated metabolites, respectively. The action of the same fungus (R.

Theoretical studies of Rhizomucor miehei lipase activation

"Protein Engineering, Design and Selection", 1993
Computational methods have been used to study the extensive conformational change of Rhizomucor miehei lipase upon activation. The present study considers the possible activation route, the energies involved and molecular interactions during the conformational change of the lipase in a hydrophobic environment.
