A Novel tRNA Half mt‐5’‐tiRNA‐Tyr Promotes Colorectal Cancer Proliferation via Inducing HARS2 Succinylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 57, 14 October 2026.
A mitochondria‐derived tRNA half, mt‐5’‐tiRNA‐Tyr, is upregulated in colorectal cancer tissues and plasma and promotes tumor proliferation. It binds HARS2 and promotes CPT1A‐associated HARS2 K91 succinylation, disrupts HARS2–mt‐tRNA‐His association, impairs mitochondrial translation, enhances succinate‐linked metabolic reprogramming, and shows promise ...

Integrated scRNA‐Seq and Spatial Transcriptomics Reveal CHPF and GPC1 as Markers of Cancer‐Associated Fibroblast–Dominant Domains in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Spatial heterogeneity in the colorectal cancer (CRC) tumor microenvironment (TME) is closely related to stromal organization and may influence treatment‐related features. In this study, we integrated single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomic data from CRC tissues to examine cancer‐associated fibroblast (CAF)‐dominant spatial ...

Multi‐omics integration and machine learning identify an ACKR1+ endothelial cell‐based lactate‐immune signature associated with carotid plaque vulnerability and progression

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
ACKR1+ endothelial cells mark intraplaque neovessels with hyperactive glycolysis and lactate metabolism. Lactate, HIF‐1α and CXCL12 link this state to CXCR4+ CD8+ T‐cell recruitment in situ. SLC16A3 and SLC16A4 serve as quantitative readouts of this lactate–immune state.

Spatiotemporal transcriptomics for tumour microenvironment remodelling in cancer progression and therapy

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
This review summarises how spatial transcriptomics technologies reveal tumour microenvironment heterogeneity and support the inference of dynamic remodelling during cancer progression. Abstract Background Spatiotemporal transcriptomics (STT) integrates spatially resolved gene expression with temporal information derived from staged samples, paired ...
