We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Existence of anti-periodic mild solutions for semilinear evolution equations
In this paper we study the existence of anti-periodic mild solutions for a class of semilinear evolution equations in Banach spaces and extend some related results in this direction.

Mild Solutions for the Time-Fractional Navier-Stokes Equations with MHD Effects
Recently, various techniques and methods have been employed by mathematicians to solve specific types of fractional differential equations (FDEs) with symmetric properties. The study focuses on Navier-Stokes equations (NSEs) that involve MHD effects with

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Ageing of polysulfone membranes in contact with bleach solution: Role of radical oxidation and of some dissolved metal ions [PDF]
In water production plants using membrane processes, contact with chemicals such as chlorine plays an important role in membrane ageing. This experimental study was aimed at gaining a better understanding of the effect of hypochlorite cleaning solutions ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Machine learning solutions for maintenance of power plants [PDF]
The primary goal of this work is to present analysis of current market for predictive maintenance software solutions applicable to a generic coal/gas-fired thermal power plant, as well as to present a brief discussion on the related developments of the ...
