Caseinolytic and milk-clotting activities from Moringa oleifera flowers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This work reports the detection and characterization of caseinolytic and milk-clotting activities from Moringa oleifera flowers. Proteins extracted from flowers were precipitated with 60% ammonium sulphate.

Influence of different milk-clotting enzymes on the process of producing soft cheeses

open access: yesПищевые системы, 2021
The effect of the type of milk clotting enzyme (MCE) on the duration of milk coagulation, parameters of the composition of whey and cheeses, and the output of cheeses in the production of soft cheese such as “Lyubitel'skiy” were investigated.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Optimization of a portable NIR device for the optical supervision of milk coagulation process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The coagulation of milk is the fundamental process in cheese-making, which is based on a gel formation as consequence of physicochemical changes taking place in the casein micelles.

Milk Clotting Enzyme from Solanm Dobium

open access: yes, 1996
Extracts from different fruit parts of the plant Solanum dobium were tested for their milk-clotting activity. Extracts from the seeds had the greatest activity followed by extracts from the whole berries, the ground whole berries and the berries\u27 ...

Integrative Multi‐Omics Analysis Reveals a Mitochondrial–Immune Axis Associated With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Response in High‐Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.

Evaluation of ovine milk clotting aptitude

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science, 2010
A comparative study of the lactodynamographic parameters was carried out on ovine milk. Besides evaluating the repeatability and reproducibility of the analytical method, the influence of some variables such as the genetic type (three breeds), the kind ...

Lactiplantibacillus Plantarum GUANKE Alleviates Allergic Asthma by Restricting Monocyte‐to‐DC Differentiation Via Microbiota‐Associated IAA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactiplantibacillus plantarum GUANKE remodels the indigenous gut microbiota and is associated with microbiota‐dependent restoration of circulating IAA. IAA treatment attenuates JAK3‐STAT3 and Jag1‐Notch4‐Hey1 signaling and reduces CX3CR1+Ly6C− monocytic precursor generation and pulmonary CD11b+ DC accumulation, together with reduced Th2 inflammation ...

The use of enzymes in the dairy industry: a condensed review

open access: yesRevista do Instituto de Latícinios Cândido Tostes, 2019
The main aim of this paper is to show an overview of the technical aspects of enzymatic action in milk processing. Process indicator enzymes, just as alkaline phosphatase and lactoperoxidase, have widely been employed in dairy factories for thermal ...

PEAR1 Promotes Glucose Metabolism Reprogramming in Sepsis‐Associated Acute Lung Injury via AARS1‐Mediated HIF‐1α Lactylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study revealed that a PEAR1/HIF‐1α/ glycolysis/lactate/H3K18la positive feedback loop in PMVECs that drives the development of S‐ALI. Mechanistically, PEAR1 mediates the binding of HIF‐1α to AARS1, leading to the lactylation of HIF‐1α, the primary lactylation site of which is K172.
