MicroRNA‐941 Acts as a Novel Prognostic Predictor and Oncogenic Driver in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Upregulation of miR‐941 was a promising diagnostic and prognostic biomarker for CRC patients. Inhibition of miR‐941 significantly suppressed CRC cellular events and triggered ferroptosis. The oncogenic functions of miR‐941 were mediated through targeting TRPS1.

Mise en évidence d'un agent coagulant utilisable en fromagerie dans les fruits de Balanites aegyptiaca [PDF]

open access: yesTropicultura, 2006
Study of a Suitable Cheese Making Milk-clotting Agent from Balanites aegyptiaca Fruits. As slaughtering of zebu (Bos indicus) calves in Cameroon is forbidden, calf abomasa are rare on markets so it is diffi cult to prepare rennet.

Relationship of somatic cell count and composition and coagulation properties of ewe’s milk

open access: yesMljekarstvo, 2015
The relationship between somatic cell count (SCC) and raw milk composition and its coagulation properties measured at native or standardised pH values were investigated in Manchega ewes’ milk.

Adipose‐derived mesenchymal stem cell injection into the KI10 acupoint mitigates cartilage damage in KOA rats through PGE2‐mediated α7nAChR/NF‐κB pathway

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In our research, KOA rat models were established and treated with ADSC injection into the KI10 acupoint. Pain relief, behavioral function, and joint structural improvements were systematically assessed using ethological tests, imaging, histopathological staining, transmission electron microscopy, and molecular analyses.

Problems concerning ovine milk clotting aptitude

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science, 2003
A comparative study of the lactodynamographic parameters was carried out on ovine milk. Besides evaluating the repeatability and reproducibility of the analytical method, the influence of some variables such as the genetic type (three breeds), the kind ...

Animal stroke models and outcome evaluation: A review

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Rodents are the preeminent stroke model species. Large animal models exist too, but are poorly standardized. Ischemic and hemorrhagic experimental models are available, with the intraluminal filament model being predominant. Outcomes are evaluated via quantifying subjects' sensorimotor impairment, cognitive memory faculties, degree of cellular ...

Jacaratia corumbensis O. Kuntze a new vegetable source for milk-clotting enzymes

open access: yesBrazilian Archives of Biology and Technology, 2009
The partial characterization and purification of milk clotting enzyme obtained from the (root latex) of Jacaratia corumbensis O. kuntze was studied, by fractional precipitation with ammonium sulphate and ion exchange chromatography. The ammonium sulphate

Cross‐Species Single‐Cell Comparative Analysis Reveals Gluconeogenic Features of Hepatocytes in Ruminants

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
In this study, we used cross‐species comparisons to identify ruminant hepatocyte features. We also identified potential genes and TFs involved in coordinating gluconeogenesis in ruminant hepatocytes. By integrating single‐cell data with population genetic analyses, we further identified candidate genetic variation in glucose metabolism and ...
