Interaction profiling of cow milk metabolites against human Renin-Angiotensin System (RAS) proteins [PDF]

open access: yesNetwork Biology
To maintain healthy human physiology and promote growth and development, it is imperative to consume milk, which provides essential nutrients like vitamins and minerals.

Comprehensive evaluation of animal milk [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Оскільки основою молочних продуктів для дитячого харчування, що виготовляються в Україні, є коров’яче молоко, компоненти якого справляють негативний вплив на незрілий організм дитини, тому пошук замінника коров’ячого молока є актуальною проблемою у ...

HMGB1 Derived from the Pyroptotic Microenvironment Promotes Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Hirschsprung‐Associated Enterocolitis

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
HMGB1 derived from the pyroptotic environment in Hirschsprung‐associated enterocolitis mediates the formation of macrophage extracellular traps through TLR4 ‐p38 MAPK/p65 NF‐kB signaling pathways. Macrophage extracellular traps induce increased ROS production and pyroptosis of colonic epithelial cells.

Milk fat globule membrane proteins are involved in controlling the size of milk fat globules during conjugated linoleic acid–induced milk fat depression

open access: yesJournal of Dairy Science, 2022
: Milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) proteins surround the triacylglycerol core comprising milk fat globules (MFG). We previously detected a decrease in the size of fat globules during conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)-induced milk fat depression (MFD), and ...

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Modulates Th17/Treg Balance via JAK/STAT Pathway in ARDS Rats

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) alleviates lung and intestinal injury in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in rats. This study demonstrates that FMT restores the balance between Th17 and Treg cells, inhibits the JAK/STAT pathway, and modulates cytokine levels, reducing inflammation and lung damage. These

αS1-casein in goat milk: identification of genetic variants by Capillary Zone Electrophoresis compared to Isoelectric Focusing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
AlphaS1 casein fraction in caprine milk is characterized by an important polymorphism due to substitution, deletion of amino acids and post trascriptional modifications (Grosclaude et al., 1994; Ferranti et al., 1997).

Time‐Controlled Dual Targeting to Program Systemic and Intercellular Transfer of Therapeutic Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Aspirin‐liposomes loaded onto monocytes enable inflammation‐triggered targeting and efficient hand‐over of aspirin to inflamed cells. Monocytes uptake a significant portion of aspirin‐liposomes, prolonging therapeutic action. This approach enhances anti‐inflammatory effects through intercellular transfer, demonstrating a translational strategy for ...

Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation study of thermal effects on milk proteins [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A recently described nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method was evaluated for its usefulness in studying thermal effects on milk proteins. The increase in water proton T2 relaxation rate observed during thermal treatment of aqueous whey protein ...
