THE VERTICAL X-SHAPED STRUCTURE IN THE MILKY WAY: EVIDENCE FROM A SIMPLE BOXY BULGE MODEL
A vertical X-shaped structure in the Galactic bulge was recently reported. Here, we present evidence of a similar X-shaped structure in the Shen et al. 2010 bar/boxy bulge model that simultaneously matches the stellar kinematics successfully.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of resin infiltration (RI) prior to at‐home bleaching on hydrogen peroxide (HP) penetration into the pulp chamber, color change, and enamel morphology in human teeth with sound enamel or white spot lesions (WSLs), using different RI protocols.

ABSTRACT Objectives To evaluate the effects of alumina airborne‐particle abrasion, glass‐bead airborne‐particle abrasion, and hydrofluoric acid etching of intaglio surfaces on the color difference and translucency of a nano‐hybrid ceramic after cementation to resin abutment specimens, and to analyze the relationships between surface roughness and these

Erythrocyte ‘Feierzeit’ reaction: Novel filamentous and vesicular response to n‐butyl acetate
Abstract Human erythrocytes (red blood cells; RBCs) undergo spontaneous disassembly after several hours of exposure to n‐butyl acetate (nBA). Images of the morphological changes were captured in time‐lapse sequences using differential interference contrast (DIC) light microscopy.

Holdfast adhesion in the kelp Alaria marginata: Cell wall polysaccharides and phenolics
Abstract Adhesion is a critical process in the survival of seaweeds, especially in wave‐swept environments. Kelp (Laminariales) sporophytes secrete adhesives from specialized rhizoid cells to anchor themselves to the substrate and withstand immense forces applied by waves.
