Biocatalytic Construction of a Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer Magnetic Resonance Imaging Nucleoside Probe: Synthesis and Evaluation of 5‐Methyl‐5,6‐Dihydrothymidine

Al‐Hilfi et al. present a biocatalytic strategy for synthesizing 5‐methyl‐5,6‐dihydrothymidine (5‐MDHT), a sensitive MRI contrast agent. The study demonstrates that recombinant enzyme catalysis offers an efficient, sustainable, and eco‐friendly alternative to traditional chemical synthesis for producing clinically relevant imaging probes.

Structural Characterization and AI‐Enhanced Modeling of a Broadly Neutralizing Camelid Antibody Against SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants

This study characterizes a camelid antibody (B10) with potent neutralizing activity against SARS‐CoV‐2 Wildtype and Omicron variants. Through binding assays, epitope mapping, pseudovirus neutralization, and AI‐driven modeling, the antibody is shown to target conserved RBD regions in a closed Spike conformation.

Tracing Red Giant Members of the Globular Cluster Palomar 5 with APOGEE and Gaia

The globular cluster Palomar 5 (Pal 5) is in the process of being tidally shredded as it orbits the Milky Way. Its core is currently at a heliocentric distance of ∼21 kpc, near apogalacticon (∼18 kpc), and it reaches ∼5–7 kpc at perigalacticon.

Dynamical modelling of the Milky Way Bar/Bulge

I review the recent progresses on the properties of the Galactic bar and bulge, and the major theoretical models and techniques to understand the Milky Way bulge. Despite these recent advances, a complete bulge formation model that explains the full kinematics and metallicity distribution is still not fully understood.
