ABSTRACT Background Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) is a minimally invasive therapy for drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. However, the relationship between specific seizure‐onset patterns (SOPs), particularly low‐voltage fast activity (LVFA), and postoperative scalp EEG normalization remains inadequately ...

Connectivity of Millimeter Wave Networks With Multi-Hop Relaying [PDF]
This paper presents a novel stochastic geometry approach to the connectivity of milimeter wave (mmWave) networks with multi-hop relaying. The random positions and shapes of obstacles in the radio environment are modeled as a Boolean model, whose germs are distributed according to a Poisson point process and grains are random rectangles.

Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRDs). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the noninvasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial interobserver variability and the ...

Design, simulation and experiment of a cusp electron beam for millimeter wave gyro-devices [PDF]
The design, simulation and experiment of a thermionic cusp electron gun that is to be used for millimeter wave generation will be presented. A cusp gun uses a non-adiabatic magnetic field reversal to obtain azimuthal motion on an electron beam resulting ...

Millimeter-Wave Photonic Techniques: Part I-Photonic Generation of Millimeter-Wave Signals [PDF]
-Broadband, low loss and cost-effective transmission capability of optical fiber links has led to an ever-increasing interest in their use for the generation and distribution of millimeter-wave (mm-wave) signals for broadband wireless access networks and

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
