Traveling waves solutions for lattice dynamical systems
[[abstract]]In this thesis, we study a two-component competition system in one dimensional lattice in the homogenous framework. This model arises in the study of the competition between two species with diffusion (or migration) when the habitat is of one-

Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward

Wave propagation in the two species competition systems
In this talk, we shall survey some recent results on the wave propagation in the two species competition systems with Lotka-Volterra type nonlinearity. This includes systems with continuous and discrete diffusion. Both monostable and bistable cases shall

Spatial dynamics of a lattice population model with two age classes and maturation delay
This paper is concerned with the spatial dynamics of a monostable delayed age-structured population model in a 2D lattice strip. When there exists no positive equilibrium, we prove the global attractivity of the zero equilibrium.

All‐solution‐processed, low‐cost extended short‐wavelength infrared photodetectors are realized by coupling colloidal HgTe quantum dots to plasmonic In2O3:Sn,F nanocrystals. Localized surface plasmon resonances boost and spectrally tailor light absorption between 1500 and 3000 nm, enabling responsivities above 40 A W−1.

Rutile GeO2${\rm GeO}_{2}$ exhibits orientation‐dependent heat transport with temperature‐dependent anisotropy, showing higher cross‐plane thermal conductivity along [001] than along the equivalent in‐plane [100] and [010] directions. Temperature‐dependent TDTR measurements and first‐principles phonon calculations identify the microscopic phonon ...

Velocity‐Tunable Exciton‐Photon Hybridization in Cathodoluminescence
Transition‐radiation resonances in suspended thin crystals hybridise with excitonic transitions under free‐electron excitation. By tuning the electron energy, the photonic resonances are continuously detuned across the exciton states, enabling controllable exciton–photon hybridisation below the diffraction limit without altering the system geometry ...

Enhancing crystallinity through thermal annealing leads to amplifying the chiroptical activity of TiO2 nanohelices (NHs) fabricated by glancing angle deposition, ascribed to the suppression of charge trapping. The enhanced chiroptical activity can be converted into pronounced dissymmetric photocatalytic kinetics of circularly polarized photocatalysis ...
