An easy to construct sub-micron resolution imaging system
We report an easy to construct imaging system that can resolve particles separated by $$\ge $$ ≥ 0.68 $$\upmu $$ μ m with minimum aberrations. Its first photon collecting lens is placed at a distance of 31.6 mm giving wide optical access.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Split-plot fractional designs: Is minimum aberration enough?
Split-plot experiments are commonly used in industry for product and process improvement. Recent articles on designing split-plot experiments concentrate on minimum aberration as the design criterion.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Error correction of a phase-only computer-generated hologram for an aspheric surface [PDF]
When applying phase-only computer-generated hologram (CGH) as a standard model of optical measurement in computer-generated holography for aspheric surface testing, it has the advantage of simplifying optical path configuration and improving the ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Bayesian-inspired minimum aberration two- and four-level designs
Motivated by a Bayesian framework, we propose a new minimum aberration-type criterion for designing experiments with two- and four-level factors. The Bayesian approach helps in overcoming the ad hoc nature of effect ordering in the existing minimum ...
