Treg cells retain stable lineage commitment during pregnancy in mice after late gestation inflammatory challenge

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, Volume 104, Issue 3, Page 276-311, March 2026.
In this study, we used Foxp3‐fatemapping mice to examine the cell lineage stability of Treg cells in pregnancy. Ex‐Foxp3 cells were identified in gestational tissues. However, Treg cells retained lineage stability with no increased ex‐Foxp3 generation, regardless of inflammatory challenges that induce preterm birth.

Sex Differences in Response to Viral Vector Vaccines—Implications for Future Vaccine Design

open access: yesImmunological Reviews, Volume 338, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Vaccination represents one of the most impactful public health achievements, preventing 3.5 to 5 million deaths annually according to estimates of the World Health Organization. Yet, recent outbreaks of emerging and reemerging infectious diseases highlight the need for rapid and strategic vaccine development using vaccine platforms ...

The Thymus Regeneration Paradox: The Search for Stemness in an Involuting Organ

open access: yesImmunological Reviews, Volume 338, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The thymus is emerging as a model for studying organ regeneration and stem cell biology. While research has long focused on how antigen‐presenting cells shape the T cell repertoire, recent discoveries unveil a far richer cellular landscape that challenges long‐held views of thymus structure and function. This review traces the history of early

oxPAPC‐Mediated lncRNA CYP1B1‐AS1 From Dendritic Cells Accelerates Atherosclerosis

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 5, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Oxidised 1‐palmitoyl‐2‐arachidonoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphorylcholine (oxPAPC), dendritic cells (DCs), and long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play crucial roles in atherosclerosis (AS). This study aimed to determine whether oxPAPC‐induced DC‐derived lncRNAs contribute to AS and to elucidate the underlying regulatory mechanisms.

Landscapes of HLA Mismatching in Contemporary Unrelated Haematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesHLA, Volume 107, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Haematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) with HLA‐mismatched unrelated donors (MMUD) offers access to curative therapy for patients lacking well‐matched donors. Accumulating evidence suggests that functional matching among allele‐mismatched pairs can significantly influence patient outcomes.
