Exosomal LINC00161 promotes angiogenesis and metastasis via regulating miR-590-3p/ROCK axis in hepatocellular carcinoma

Cancer Gene Therapy, 2021
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a lethal malignancy with few effective options for therapeutic treatment in its advanced stages. While exosomal LINC00161 has been identified as a potential biomarker for HCC, its regulatory function and clinical values remain largely unknown.

Effect of miR-590-3p/DKK1 Axis on the Progression of Wilms’ Tumour

Archivos Españoles de Urología
Wilms' tumour is the most prevalent abdominal malignancy in children. This study focused on the mechanism of the miR-590-3p/Dickkopf 1 (DKK1) axis in Wilms' tumour. The mRNA levels of miR-590-3p and DKK1 in 49 pairs of Wilms' tumour pathological specimens and normal tissues were determined using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).

MiR-590-3p regulates osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells by regulating APC gene

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2016
The present study aimed to investigate miR-590-3p's role in osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC). HMSC were cultured and transfected with empty vector, miR-590-3p vector to construct control hMSC and miR-590-3p overexpression hMSC. MiR-590-3p suppressed hMSC was created with oligonucleotide transient transfection.

Role of hnRNP-A1 and miR-590-3p in Neuronal Death: Genetics and Expression Analysis in Patients with Alzheimer Disease and Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration

Rejuvenation Research, 2011
An association study of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP)-A1 was carried out in a population of 274 patients with frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and 287 with Alzheimer disease (AD) as compared with 344 age- and gender-matched controls.

miR-590–3p inhibits proliferation and promotes apoptosis by targeting activating transcription factor 3 in human breast cancer cells

Biochimie, 2018
We previously reported that ATF3 and Runx2 are involved in breast cancer progression and bone metastasis. The expression of these genes can be controlled by post-transcriptional regulators such as microRNAs (miRNAs). In this study, we identified and validated the functional role of miR-590-3p in human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB231).

To study the effect of the two arms of miR-590, miR-590-5p and miR-590-3p, on hepatoma cell proliferation and their roles in tumor development. We analyzed and verified the expression pattern of miR-590 in liver cancer specimens and cell lines by miRNA microarrays and QPCR.
