Effect of miR-590-3p/DKK1 Axis on the Progression of Wilms’ Tumour
Archivos Españoles de UrologíaWilms' tumour is the most prevalent abdominal malignancy in children. This study focused on the mechanism of the miR-590-3p/Dickkopf 1 (DKK1) axis in Wilms' tumour.The mRNA levels of miR-590-3p and DKK1 in 49 pairs of Wilms' tumour pathological specimens and normal tissues were determined using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).

HMSC were cultured and transfected with empty vector, miR-590-3p vector to construct control hMSC and miR-590-3p overexpression hMSC. MiR-590-3p suppressed hMSC was created with oligonucleotide transient transfection.

We previously reported that ATF3 and Runx2 are involved in breast cancer progression and bone metastasis. The expression of these genes can be controlled by post-transcriptional regulators such as microRNAs (miRNAs). In this study, we identified and validated the functional role of miR-590-3p in human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB231).
