Objective Cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) has a poor prognosis due to persistent HPV infection. LncRNA TPRG1-AS1 is linked to regulating the development of many cancers, so the regulatory mechanism and prognostic value of TPRG1-AS1 in CSCC were ...

From Oxidative Stress Damage to Pathways, Networks, and Autophagy via MicroRNAs. [PDF]
Oxidative stress can alter the expression level of many microRNAs (miRNAs), but how these changes are integrated and related to oxidative stress responses is poorly understood. In this article, we addressed this question by using in silico tools.

Insights on the functional impact of microRNAs present in autism-associated copy number variants. [PDF]
Autism spectrum disorder is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that appears during the first three years of infancy and lasts throughout a person's life. Recently a large category of genomic structural variants, denoted as copy number variants (CNVs),

A CTGF‐LYTAC nanoplatform is developed to selectively degrade connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), inhibiting TGF‐β signaling and cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). This strategy effectively suppresses tumor growth and metastasis, outperforming antibody‐based therapy.

Hsa-miR-137, hsa-miR-520e and hsa-miR-590-3p perform crucial roles in Lynch syndrome
The aim of the present study was to identify the differentially expressed microRNAs (DEMs) between Lynch syndrome (LS) and the normal colonic (N-C) control samples, predict the target genes (TGs) and analyze the potential functions of the DEMs and TGs.

Encapsulation of miR‐196a‐5p mimic in serum‐derived exosomes from patients with endometriosis by electrotransfection: exosomes encapsulated with miR‐196a‐5p are phagocytosed by macrophages and release miR‐196a‐5p; miR‐196a‐5p activates the Hippo pathway and promotes macrophage M1‐type polarization, thereby inhibiting 12Z cell metastasis.

Additional file 2: Figure S2. Sequence alignment between miR-590-3p and N-cadherin but not Vimentin. TargetScan shows that the mesenchymal marker N-cadherin harbours three different binding sites with miR-590-3p in its 3′UTR, while no binding was shown with the other tested mesenchymal marker, Vimentin, supporting the notion that miR-590-3p suppresses ...

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition linked to glutamatergic neurotransmission abnormalities. We analyzed by HPLC the cerebral and peripheral profiles of D‐aspartate, D‐serine, and other L‐amino acids involved in NMDA receptor signaling in environmental ASD rat models prenatally exposed to lipopolysaccharide or valproate ...
