Pyruvate kinase in pig liver mitochondria
The existence of the pyruvate kinase (PK) in pig liver mitochondria was shown by monitoring photometrically the PK reaction in solubilised mitochondria with either phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) or ADP used as a substrate.
