Tirzepatide, a dual GIP/GLP‐1 receptor agonist for diabetes, suppresses colorectal cancer growth by targeting glucose metabolism. It inhibits cancer cell proliferation, promotes apoptosis, and induces tumor regression. It reduces glucose uptake and destabilizes HIF‐1α for degradation to downregulate PFKFB3/PFK‐1 enzymes, thus contributing to the ...

A single‐cell and spatial transcriptional atlas reveals the architecture of human gastric cancer stem cell (CSC) niche and the developmental trajectory of CSCs. These CSCs interact with immunosuppressive immune cells thereby constructing immune‐suppressive niche, and inflammatory cancer‐associated fibroblast (iCAFs) to enhance stemness through ...

Engineering the Immune Response to Biomaterials
This paper reviews immune responses to biomaterials, stages of evolution in relation to managing these responses ranging from preventing to modulating them. It also discusses state‐of‐the‐art strategies to modulate these responses and modes of their delivery.

RAB3B Dictates mTORC1/S6 Signaling in Chordoma and Predicts Response to mTORC1‐Targeted Therapy
RAB3B is unveiled as a prominent oncogenic regulator in chordoma, which can block the DUSP12‐mediated dephosphorylation of p‐S6 (S235/236). The combination of RAB3B and p‐S6 indicates a good prognostic value and predicts mTORC1 inhibitors response for chordoma patients.

The study reports that Wnt inhibitors safeguard porcine embryonic stem cells (ESCs) from acquiring the extraembryonic endoderm (XEN) lineage, and further develop an efficient strategy to derive XEN cells from ESCs. The XEN cells from ESCs exhibit similar transcriptome and chromatin accessibility features to XEN cells from embryos and contribute to ...
