This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Probabilistic Analysis for Mixed Criticality Scheduling with SMC and AMC [PDF]
This paper introduces probabilistic analysis for fixed priority preemptive scheduling of mixed criticality systems on a uniprocessor using the Adaptive Mixed Criticality (AMC) and Static Mixed Criticality (SMC) schemes.

Optimisation of production machine scheduling using a two level mixed optimisation method [PDF]
This paper presents an application of a two level mixed optimization method on a machine scheduling problem of a government owned machine shop. Where evolutionary algorithm methods are suitable for solving complex, discrete space, and non-linear,

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

MC-Fluid: Fluid Model-Based Mixed-Criticality Scheduling on Multiprocessors
A mixed-criticality system consists of multiple components with different criticalities. While mixed-criticality scheduling has been extensively studied for the uniprocessor case, the problem of efficient scheduling for the multiprocessor case has ...

Criticality-Aware EDF Scheduling for Constrained-Deadline Imprecise Mixed-Criticality Systems
EDF-VD first focuses on the classic mixed-criticality task model in which all low criticality (LO) tasks are abandoned in the high criticality mode, which is an effective dynamic priority scheduling algorithm for mixed-criticality systems.
