Chaotic Turing-Hopf mixed mode
Physical Review E, 1993 An alternative scenario for the onset of spatiotemporal chaos in one-dimensional extended systems arising from a phase instability of a Turing-Hopf mixed mode is presented. This mechanism leads to weak and defect turbulences. The transition between these two is either continuous or hysteretic, depending on the values of the parameters.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
