Conversion of MoCA to MMSE scores
A method was recently developed to convert Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores to equivalent Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) scores [1]. The method was derived from an elderly, primarily Caucasian sample composed of persons with Alzheimer's disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and healthy older controls using the equipercentile ...

White Matter and Perivascular Imaging Changes in Alzheimer's Disease and Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy
ABSTRACT Objective Peak‐width of skeletonized mean diffusivity (PSMD) and diffusion tensor imaging–analysis along the perivascular space (DTI‐ALPS), reflecting white matter integrity and glymphatic function, are altered in Alzheimer's disease (AD).

The Association of Amyloid‐β and Tau With Synaptic Dysfunction in Alzheimer's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective To clarify the relative contributions of amyloid and tau to synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Methods We included 109 cognitively unimpaired and impaired individuals from the Geneva Memory Center with available CSF synaptic biomarkers (neurogranin, SNAP‐25, GAP‐43). Participants were stratified according to amyloid (A)

A Two‐Stage Plasma Biomarker Algorithm Reduces Amyloid PET Use and the p‐Tau217 Gray Zone
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma p‐Tau217 leaves 30%–50% of patients in an indeterminate “gray zone” often requiring Aβ‐PET. We developed GRAD (Gatekeeper‐Reflex for Alzheimer's Disease), a two‐stage Aβ‐positivity prediction model to improve classification while reserving Aβ‐PET for residual uncertainty.

Parkinson Disease Subtype Stability and Eventual Convergence
ABSTRACT Objective Previous research identified distinct Parkinson disease (PD) clinical subtypes of “Motor Only,” “Psychiatric & Motor,” and “Cognitive & Motor” based on comprehensive, multidomain classification. Whether these subtypes reflect distinct trajectories or progressive disease stages remains unknown.
