Distributed embedded control systems design with verification support
We consider a problem of integrating a formal method of verification (model checking) into the process of designing complex distributed software systems to improve the quality of software. We use an approach based on the Model-Driven Engineering.

Systematic Reviews in Model-Driven Engineering: A Tertiary study
To cope with growing complexity of software-intensive systems, model-driven engineering (MDE) has become a widely used approach in the industry by providing many (potential) benefits with different purposes. Although there has been an increasing interest

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

Embedding Requirements within the Model Driven Architecture
The Model Driven Architecture (MDA) brings benefits to software development, among them the potential for connecting software models with the business domain. This paper focuses on the upstream or Computation Independent Model (CIM) phase of the MDA. Our

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Model-Driven Engineering of a Railway Interlocking System
Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) promises to enhance system development by reducing development time, and increasing productivity and quality. MDE is gaining popularity in several industry sectors, and is attractive also for critical systems where they can

Identity Management in Business Process Modelling: A Model-Driven Approach
The modelling of business processes is widely used in enterprises. Though this is very common, requirements for identity management and access control are often collected separately in documents or requirement tools. Due to the business-driven background

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Data-driven adaptive model-based predictive control with application in wastewater systems
This study is concerned with the development of a new data-driven adaptive model-based predictive controller (MBPC) with input constraints. The proposed methods employ subspace identification technique and a singular value decomposition (SVD)-based ...
