Fast adaptation model reference adaptive control
2017 4th International Conference on Power, Control & Embedded Systems (ICPCES), 2017Since adaptive controller does not rely fully on dynamic system models, therefore, there exist a necessity of fast adaptation to achieve improved tracking performance using high adaptive gain. However, attaining fast adaptation using high adaptive gain is a serious limitation of adaptive controllers which may raise certain serious issues.

MODEL REFERENCE ADAPTIVE CONTROL AND ADAPTIVE STABILITY AUGMENTATION
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1992Abstract A comparison of the standard concepts in MRAC design suggests that a combination of the implicit and the explicit design techniques may lead to an improvement of the overall system performance in the presence of unmodelled dynamics. Using the ideas of adaptive stability augmentation a combined stability augmented model reference design is ...

Robust model reference adaptive control
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1986The authors propose a new model reference adaptive control algorithm and show that it provides the robust stability at the resulting closed-loop adaptive control system with respect to unmodeled plant uncertainties. The robustness is achieved by using a relative error signal in combination with a dead zone and a projection in the adaptive law.

Model Reference Adaptive Control
2019We consider here an adaptive version of the output tracking results established in Sect. 3.5, and solve a model reference adaptive control problem where the goal is to make a measured signal track a reference signal from minimal knowledge of the system parameters. Consider system ( 2.1), which we restate here $$u_t(x, t) - \lambda (x) u_x(x, t) = f(

Model Reference Fuzzy Adaptive Control
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1984Abstract Based on the experience of the operators in tuning the parameters of the widely used PI controller, a PI model reference fuzzy adaptive control system(MRFAC) is studied. In case the controlled plant is fuzzy, MRFAC is a simple and practical method.

Multivariable model-reference adaptive control
1988., IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003An algorithm is presented for a discrete model-reference adaptive controller for a system, in which the number of inputs is equal to the number of outputs. This controller, an extension of a single-input scheme due to R. Lozano and Y.D. Landau (1981), provides correct tracking of reference model outputs by plant outputs, together with freedom of choice

Alternative Model Reference Adaptive Control
AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference, 2010This paper introduces a provably stable alternative indirect formulation to the nowclassical Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) architecture. The proposed statefeedback design is developed for generic multi-input multi-output dynamical systems with matched uncertainties.

Tube model reference adaptive control
Automatica, 2013By using the concept of on-line goal adaptation, we develop a new paradigm of performance shaping in MRAC. The general idea is to replace the single reference model generated trajectory in classical adaptive design with a tube reference model. Two alternative adaptive control schemes that lead to tractable design formulations are developed in which the
