Basically they include the model of unilateral nigrostriatal lesion induced by 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) in rodents and the 1-methy-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6, tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) model of parkinsonism in non-human primates.

When tradition burns: Misinterpreting prescribed fire across the science–society gap in Iberia

Prescribed fire is a scientifically grounded management tool whose benefits depend on specific ecological and operational conditions. This Perspective examines how these benefits may be reinterpreted beyond their original context and proposes a framework to improve the translation of ecological knowledge into environmental decision‐making.

High and dry: Environmental conditions drive opportunities for disease transmission in desert bighorn sheep

By using probabilistic models to predict contacts as a function of spatially and temporally varying environmental conditions, we show that population‐level conditions at the time of disease introduction can structure opportunities for transmission within each population.

Alcohol or Stress Exposure During Late Adolescence Impairs Risk Assessment Later in Life, Disrupting the Ethological Structure of Behavior in Mice

Alcohol and stress during adolescence may lead to long‐lasting impairments in risky decision‐making. We show that adolescent ethanol or yohimbine exposure selectively reduces cautious risk assessment without changing anxiety‐like behaviors, reorganizing behavioral structure.
