Voltammetric determination of Celiptium with carbon paste and lipid-modified carbon paste electrodes

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1990
Abstract The electrooxidation of the antitumour drug 2-methyl-9-hydroxyellipticinium (Celiptium) was investigated by cyclic, differential-pulse and adsorptive voltammetry at carbon paste (CPE) and lipid-modified carbon paste electrodes (LM-CPE). The influence of the paste composition, i.e., the ratio of graphite to binder, was studied in order to ...

Comparative investigation on electrochemical behavior of hydroquinone at carbon ionic liquid electrode, ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode and carbon paste electrode

Electrochimica Acta, 2007
Ionic liquid, 1-heptyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (HMIMPF6), has been used to fabricate two new electrodes, carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) and ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode (IL/CPE), using graphite powder mixed with HMIMPF6 or the mixture of HMIMPF6/paraffin liquid as the binder, respectively.

Determination of Roxarsone Using Carbon Paste and Amberlite LA2 Modified Carbon Paste Electrodes

Electroanalysis, 2000
The methods for determination of the growth promoter 4-hydroxy-3-nitrobenzenearsonic acid (Roxarsone) in veterinary product and in poultry drinks have been developed using differential pulse voltammetry with carbon paste and Amberlite LA2 chemically modified carbon paste electrodes.

Modified carbon paste electrodes for discrimination of vegetable oils

Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, 2005
Abstract A new methodology for the analysis of alimentary vegetable oils has been developed. Vegetables oils have been used as electroactive binder material of carbon paste electrodes. The electrochemical response of such electrodes immersed in a variety of electrolytic aqueous solutions has been exploited to discriminate the oils.

Voltammetry of hexacyanoferrates using a chemically modified carbon-paste electrode

The Analyst, 1986
A simple electroanalytical method for the quantitative determination of hexacyanoferrate(II) and -(III) has been developed using a carbon-paste electrode, chemically modified with a weakly basic anion exchanger. The complexes can be pre-concentrated at the electrode surface prior to voltammetric determination.

Surfactant modified carbon paste electrode: Part 2: Analytical performances

Electroanalysis, 1994
AbstractThe hexadecylsulfonic acid (sodium salt) modified carbon paste electrode (HDSNa‐CPE) has been studied in batch and flowing systems, and its analytical performance has been established in comparison with a conventional carbon paste electrode (CPE). Amperometry, linear scan, and preconcentration voltammetry have been used for the investigation of

Immobilizing DNA on clay mineral modified carbon paste electrodes

Applied Clay Science, 2008
Abstract Al-kaolinite, Al-montmorillonite, and Al 13 -montmorillonite have been prepared and their electrokinetic mobility were measured to be – 2.06 × 10 - 8 , -0.62 × 10 - 8 and +2.98 × 10 - 8  m 2 V - 1 s - 1 respectively. DNA immobilized on the clay mineral modified carbon paste electrode via the positive charges of the clay mineral.

Glucose Sensor Based on Ubiquinone-Modified Carbon Paste Electrode

Analytical Letters, 1995
Abstract Two types of carbon paste electrodes containing ubiquinone (CoQ) and glucose oxidase (GOD) were constructed, and their electrochemistry and amperometric response to substrate were investigated. For one type of electrode in which the surface of carbon particles was covered with a part of CoQ molecules added, it was found that the CoQ adsorbed ...
