Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Hydroisomerization of n-hexadecane on Pt-containing silicone aluminum phosphate molecular sieves SAPO-11 with different silicon content

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии
Objectives. To obtain silicone aluminum phosphate molecular sieves SAPO-11 with different silicon content, to determine their pore space and acidic properties, to apply 0.5 wt % to their surface Pt, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of n ...

Two systems developed for purifying inert atmospheres [PDF]

open access: yes, 1969
Two systems, one for helium and one for argon, are used for purifying inert atmospheres. The helium system uses an activated charcoal bed at liquid nitrogen temperature to remove oxygen and nitrogen. The argon system uses heated titanium sponge to remove

The role of different parameters of synthesis in the final structure of Ti-containing mesoporous materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Ti-containing mesoporous materials have been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis at 373 K and compared to pure siliceous MCM-41 synthesized in the same conditions.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Synthesis MFI Zeolites Using Alternative Silica Source for CO2 Capture

open access: yesCeramics
In recent years, climate change has attracted the attention of the scientific community. These changes are attributed to human action, which is responsible for the emission of polluting gases, mainly through the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation ...

Novel synthesis of fly-ash-derived Cu-loaded SAPO-34 catalysts and their use in selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

open access: yesGreen Energy & Environment, 2019
A combined acid–alkali hydrothermal method was used to prepare fly ash –derived SAPO-34 molecular sieves from a thermal power plant in Inner Mongolia (China). The specific surface area of the prepared fly-ash-derived SAPO-34 molecular sieves was 579 m2 g−

Intrazeolite synthesis of polythiophene chains [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Adsorption of thiophene and 3-methylthiophene into the channel system of transition metal-containing zeolites Y and mordenite results in oxidative polymerization to give encapsulated chains of polythiophene and poly(3-methylthiophene)

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
