Molecular Weight Distribution of Polypropylene

Ziegler-Natta触媒で合成したポリプロピレンの分子量分布を沈殿濁度法*1により測定し, 累積重量分率I (M) =5-95%の範囲で対数正規分布に近似されることを確かめた。しかし実測のデータは上記範囲外, 特に高分子量領域で対数正規分布からずれてくるものが多く, 直線の勾配から計算される重量平均分子量Mwおよび数平均分子量Mnはかなりの誤差を伴う。著者らは高分子端の補正を行なった修正対数正規分布を適用することにより, これを解決することができた。また, 対数正規分布の場合には, Mnと併用してQ値 (=Mw/Mn) を相対的な不均一性を表わす尺度として採用しうることを考察した。

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.
