H2S and SO2 adsorption on Pt-MoS2 adsorbent for partial discharge elimination: A DFT study
SF6 inevitably decomposes to various decomposition products under partial discharge in SF6-insulated equipment. Therefore, in order to ensure the running stability of the equipment, Pt-MoS2 monolayer adsorbent material was proposed to remove the main ...

Phonon bandgap engineering of strained monolayer MoS2 [PDF]
The phonon band structure of monolayer MoS2 is characteristic for a large energy gap between acoustic and optical branches, which protects the vibration of acoustic modes from being scattered by optical phonon modes. Therefore, the phonon bandgap engineering is of practical significance for the manipulation of phonon-related mechanical or thermal ...

UV-Visible Photodetector Based on I-type Heterostructure of ZnO-QDs/Monolayer MoS2
Monolayer MoS2 has shown excellent photoresponse properties, but its promising applications in high-sensitivity photodetection suffer from the atomic-thickness-limited adsorption and band gap-limited spectral selectivity.

Comparative adsorption of heavy metal ions in wastewater on monolayer molybdenum disulfide
To maximize the potential of monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) sheet in the disposal of heavy metal ions in wastewater, we compared the adsorption of several common heavy metal ions (including Cr3+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+, and Pb2+) in ...

Tunable Complementary Doping Strategy Enables High‐Performance Homo‐Channel CMOS in Monolayer WSe2
Polarity‐selective modulation enables a homo‐channel WSe2 CMOS platform from a single 2D semiconductor. MoOx and AlN tune WSe2 toward p‐ and n‐type operation, respectively, yielding complementary FETs and inverters with balanced switching, high voltage gain, low static power, and promising scalability for 2D logic integration.
