Genome‐wide systematic annotation identified 81 odorant receptors (ORs) and 49 odorant‐binding proteins (OBPs) in the tobacco budworm, Chloridea virescens. Phylogenetic analyses revealed chemosensory gene diversification in Heliothinae and extensive lineage‐specific duplications in C.

Auxin response and PIN‐mediated transport in chlorophyte algae
Like multicellular plants, green algae respond to auxin and move it across their cells. However, their PIN‐like proteins do not act like plant auxin exporters, suggesting that basic auxin transport evolved early and specialized directional transport appeared later in plant evolution.

Stage-Dependent Dynamics of the Rhizosphere Bacterial Community in Cultivated Morchella sextelata
As a high-value edible mushroom, Morchella sextelata faces several cultivation challenges, including unstable yields, continuous cropping constraints, and soil-borne diseases. The rhizosphere soil microbial community plays a crucial role in morel growth,

Maternal brewer's yeast supplementation did not change the milk oligosaccharide (HMO) concentration, but more mothers felt their milk supply was increased, and fewer reported formula use by 6 months postpartum compared to those taking the placebo. This suggests the supplement may support breastfeeding, warranting further investigation in larger trials.

Entomological and community‐related risk factors for Chagas disease were assessed through peridomestic sampling, calculation of entomological indices and surveys of community knowledge, attitudes and practices. Forty‐six triatomines, all identified as Triatoma pallidipennis, were collected, and all specimens showed natural infection with Trypanosoma ...
