Skyrmion morphology in ultrathin magnetic films
Nitrogen-vacancy magnetic microscopy is employed in quenching mode as a non-invasive, high resolution tool to investigate the morphology of isolated skyrmions in ultrathin magnetic films.

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Prospects for the use of sialylated immunoglobulins in the treatment of different diseases
The central role of glycosylation has been well confirmed in numerous studies. In particular, a change in the glycosylation profile of antibodies is observed in infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders and cancer.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Statistical Physics of Fracture Surfaces Morphology
Experiments on fracture surface morphologies offer increasing amounts of data that can be analyzed using methods of statistical physics. One finds scaling exponents associated with correlation and structure functions, indicating a rich phenomenology of ...

A Morphology-Aware Network for Morphological Disambiguation
Agglutinative languages such as Turkish, Finnish andHungarian require morphological disambiguation beforefurther processing due to the complex morphologyof words. A morphological disambiguator is usedto select the correct morphological analysis of a word.Morphological disambiguation is important because itgenerally is one of the first ...

Chapter 12 In the previous chapters, we have seen that a lot of information about the potential tags of tokens in a text is found by lexicon lookup. Another, often complementary source of information is morphological analysis, i.e. the process of decomposing words into their constituents. The information about the individual constituents can be used to

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.
