A model of heat dissipation for MR based brake
In contrast to conventional brakes actuators based on magnetorheological fluids (MRF) offer an advantage in short term, peak load decelerating. The dissipation of a high amount of energy in a short period of time results in a thermal destruction of conventional brakes.
