The development of nanotheranostics for precision imaging-guided regulated cell death-mediated synergistic tumor therapy is still challenging. Herein, a novel multifunctional nanotheranostic agent, iRGD-coated maleimide-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(lactic acid/glycolic acid)-encapsulated hydrophobic gold nanocages (AuNCs) and hydrophilic epigallocatechin

Sensitivity of molecular target detection by multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT)
Medical Physics, 2009Optoacoustic imaging is emerging as a noninvasive imaging modality that can resolve optical contrast through several millimeters to centimeters of tissue with the resolution achieved by ultrasound imaging. More recently, applied at multiple illumination wavelengths, multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) offered the ability to effectively ...

Brittle Fracture Assessments on Piping Systems: MSOT Curves
Volume 3: Design and Analysis, 2019Abstract Brittle fracture assessments (BFAs) of pressure vessels based on API 579-1/ASME FFS-1, Section 3 procedures are frequently easier and more straightforward to implement in comparison to the BFAs on piping systems. Specifically, the development of the MSOT curves.

Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) Characterization in Resolving Molecular Biomarkers
2009Fluorochromes are essential biological reporters in many areas of biomedical research and, in particular, molecular imaging applications. We demonstrate the basic performance characteristics of multispectral optoacoustic tomography in resolving fluorochromes in tissue-mimicking phantoms.

Quantitative imaging of tumor vasculature using multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT)
SPIE Proceedings, 2017The ability to evaluate tumor oxygenation in the clinic could indicate prognosis and enable treatment monitoring, since oxygen deficient cancer cells are often more resistant to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. MultiSpectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) is a hybrid technique combining the high contrast of optical imaging with spatial resolution and ...

Advancing biological imaging with multi-spectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT)
2009 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, 2009Multi-spectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) is an imaging method that can resolve fluorochromes and other reporter molecules with high sensitivity and specificity deep inside live animals and tissues. The method can penetrate for several millimeters to centimeters in tissues and offers resolutions in the 30 – 100 micron range.

Abstract 4269: Dynamic contrast-enhanced MSOT imaging to intratumoral pharmacokinetic modeling
Cancer Research, 2018Abstract Introduction: Interactions between biological features and nanoparticles could affect tracer biodistribution, kinetics, clearance, and translocation. Because these effects cannot be simply extrapolated from in vitro studies, in vivo quantitative data are needed to determine the pharmacokinetic properties of tracers.
