Advancing Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT): Phasor Analysis for Real-Time Spectral Unmixing

open access: yesComputers in Biology and Medicine
Multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) merges optical and ultrasound imaging to generate high-resolution, molecularly specific images. By capturing ultrasound emissions at multiple wavelengths, MSOT enables real-time visualization of tissue slices or volumes.

Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) Characterization in Resolving Molecular Biomarkers

2009
Fluorochromes are essential biological reporters in many areas of biomedical research and, in particular, molecular imaging applications. We demonstrate the basic performance characteristics of multispectral optoacoustic tomography in resolving fluorochromes in tissue-mimicking phantoms.

Link sharing for service continuity in multi-service on one terminal (MSOT) scenario

2011 IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC), 2011
In this paper, a novel scheme for MSOT scenario (multi-service on one terminal)using link sharing to guarantee service continuity is proposed. Fuzzy control theory is applied for designing the sharing strategy. The functionalities of mobile terminal for link sharing are modular design considering easy implementation.

Advancing biological imaging with multi-spectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT)

2009 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, 2009
Multi-spectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) is an imaging method that can resolve fluorochromes and other reporter molecules with high sensitivity and specificity deep inside live animals and tissues. The method can penetrate for several millimeters to centimeters in tissues and offers resolutions in the 30 – 100 micron range.
