A radioimmunoassay for MTV-antigens

European Journal of Cancer (1965), 1973
The second method of approach resulted in a useful assay by which at least two different sets of antigens can be distinguished. Figure 1 represents regression lines obtained with respectively 4 plasma samples from female tumourbearing mice: (C3Hx020) F1, GR and Balb/c foster C3H, one sample of MTVpositive milk (Balb/c foster C3H), and a mammary tumour ...

The evolution of MTV

2021
MTV revolutionized the world of music and television in the 80s and 90s, but the network had to shift its focus to reality programming in order to thrive in a highly competitive business. MTV successfully rebranded itself and gained ground among younger demographics with a variety of reality programs.

The evolution of MTV music programs an analysis of the MTV artists program

2021
The purpose of the study was to explore the evolution of MTV music programs by analyzing the MTV Artists program. Launched in 1981, MTV originally got its fame from its music videos and music shows. But in order to keep engaging its viewers, it has shifted from a pure music channel to a channel dedicated to pop culture.

Pregnancy dependence of mammary tumours in DDD mice congenic for Mtv-2, DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2

Laboratory Animals, 1994
Mammary tumours developed in 110 (95.7%) of 115 DDD/1- Mtv-2/Mtv-2 (DDD/1- Mtv-2) and 24 (47·1%) of 51 DDD/1fDDD/1- Mtv-2 (DDD/1f Mtv-2) force-bred female mice during a one-year period. The mean tumour age±SE was 220±7 and 269±7 days, respectively.

Establishment of DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2, nu/nu and DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2, nu/+ mice: preliminary characterization in relation to MTV antigen expression and mammary tumorigenesis.

Cancer letters, 1990
To investigate the effects of the T-cell deprivation on viral mammary tumorigenesis, two double congenic mouse strains of the DDD genetic background, DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2, nu/nu and DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2, nu/+, were produced by the cross between DDD/1-Mtv-2/Mtv-2 (DDD-Mtv-2) and DDD/1-nu/nu mice, followed by repeated intercross breedings.

The Mammary Tumor Virus (MTV)

1968
During the early decades of this century, three factors were found to play major roles in the genesis of mammary tumors in mice: the genetic constitution of the mouse, hormonal stimulation, and the milk-transmitted mammary tumor agent or virus (Bittner, 1939b, 1939d, 1942c). The fact that mouse strains with a high incidence of mammary tumors as well as
