Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Multi-Agent Join

open access: yes, 2023
It is crucial to provide real-time performance in many applications, such as interactive and exploratory data analysis. In these settings, users often need to view subsets of query results quickly. It is challenging to deliver such results over large datasets for relational operators over multiple relations, such as join.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Multi‐agent multi‐dimensional joint optimisation of jamming decision‐making against multi‐functional radar

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
The authors propose a multi‐agent, multi‐dimensional joint optimisation decision‐making strategy to tackle the challenges jammers encounter when interfering with multi‐functional radars, which possess advanced anti‐interference capabilities. The strategy

Consensus control of multi‐agent systems with switched linear dynamics

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2023
In this work, the consensus problem of multi‐agent systems is addressed whose agent dynamics are described by the switched linear system, and the interaction topology is a directed graph.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Multi-agent RMax for Multi-Agent Multi-Armed Bandits

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we provide PAC bounds for best-arm identification in multi-agent multi-armed bandits (MAMABs), via an algorithm we call multi-agent RMax (MARMax). In a MAMAB, the reward structure is expressed as a coordination graph, i.e., the total team reward is a sum over local reward functions that are conditioned on the actions of a subset of the ...
