Multi-Objective Optimization Benchmarking Using DSCTool

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
By performing data analysis, statistical approaches are highly welcome to explore the data. Nowadays with the increases in computational power and the availability of big data in different domains, it is not enough to perform exploratory data analysis ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

RETRACTED: A Novel Cooperation Multi-Objective Optimization Approach: Multi-Swarm Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm Based on Decomposition (MSMOEA/D)

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
In order to achieve good adaptability, medical bone implants for clinical applications need to have porous characteristics. From a biological and mechanical point of view, the design of porous structures requires both suitable porosities to facilitate ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

KLK7 overexpression promotes an aggressive phenotype and facilitates peritoneal dissemination in colorectal cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Quality Measures of Parameter Tuning for Aggregated Multi-Objective Temporal Planning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Parameter tuning is recognized today as a crucial ingredient when tackling an optimization problem. Several meta-optimization methods have been proposed to find the best parameter set for a given optimization algorithm and (set of) problem instances ...

Multi-Objective BiLevel Optimization by Bayesian Optimization

open access: yesAlgorithms
In a multi-objective optimization problem, a decision maker has more than one objective to optimize. In a bilevel optimization problem, there are the following two decision-makers in a hierarchy: a leader who makes the first decision and a follower who ...

Multi‐objective optimization of integrated gas–electricity energy system based on improved multi‐object cuckoo algorithm

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering, 2021
With the depletion of sources of primary energy across the world, the prospect of a global energy crisis in the near future has raised considerable concern.
