Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

An All‐Optical Driven Bio‐Photovoltaic Interface for Active Control of Live Cells
Bio‐photovoltaic Interface (BIO‐PV‐I) for live cell manipulation is presented. BIO‐PV‐I can be activated non‐invasively and remotely to control the spatial motility, adhesion, and morphology of cells adhering to it. BIO‐PV‐I uses a patterned light‐induced electric potential in iron‐doped lithium niobate crystals whose light‐driven and reversible nature,

An Improved Multi-Parameter Adjustment Algorithm for Inverse Eigenvalue Problems
A multi-parameter adjustment algorithm for regularization is established and motivated. Based on numerical experiments concerning the solution of an inverse eigenvalue problem an improved version of this algorithm can be suggested.

xxxx. ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most lethal brain cancers, with median survival rarely exceeding 15 months after diagnosis. Interleukin‐12 (IL‐12) is a potent immunostimulatory cytokine capable of reshaping the tumor microenvironment (TME), yet its clinical translation is hindered by systemic toxicity and short half‐life. RNA‐based

Weak localization and spin splitting in inversion layers on p-type InAs
We report on the magnetoconductivity of quasi two-dimensional electron systems in inversion layers on p-type InAs single crystals. In low magnetic fields pronounced features of weak localization and antilocalization are observed.

Photon Avalanching Nanoparticles: The Next Generation of Upconverting Nanomaterials?
This Perspective outlines the mechanistic foundations that enable photon‐avalanche (PA) behavior in lanthanide nanomaterials and contrasts them with emerging application spaces and forward‐looking design strategies. By bridging threshold engineering, energy‐transfer dynamics, and materials engineering, we provide a coherent roadmap for advancing the ...

Using the infrared iron lines to probe solar subsurface convection
Studying the properties of the solar convection using high-resolution spectropolarimetry began in the early 90's with the focus on observations in the visible wavelength regions. Its extension to the infrared (IR) remains largely unexplored.
