Solvability of a sixth‐order boundary value problem with multi‐point and multi‐term integral boundary conditions

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences
This paper aims to investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a sixth‐order differential equation involving nonlocal and integral boundary conditions. Firstly, we obtain the properties of the relevant Green's functions. The existence result of at least one nontrivial solution is obtained by applying the Krasnoselskii–Zabreiko fixed point

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

RIEMANN–LIOUVILLE FRACTIONAL INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH FRACTIONAL NONLOCAL MULTI-POINT BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

open access: yesFractals, 2021
In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions for Riemann–Liouville fractional integro-differential equations equipped with fractional nonlocal multi-point and strip boundary conditions in the weighted space. The methods of our study include the well-known tools of the fixed point theory, which are commonly applied to ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Nonlinear fractional differential equations and inclusions of arbitrary order and multi-strip boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2012
We study boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional differential equations and inclusions of order $q in (m-1, m]$, $m ge 2$ with multi-strip boundary conditions.

Coupled Systems of Nonlinear Integer and Fractional Differential Equations with Multi-Point and Multi-Strip Boundary Conditions

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
We first consider a second order coupled differential system with nonlinearities involved two unknown functions and their derivatives, subject to a new kinds of multi-point and multi-strip boundary value conditions.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

On (k,ψ)-Hilfer Fractional Differential Equations and Inclusions with Mixed (k,ψ)-Derivative and Integral Boundary Conditions

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
In this paper we study single-valued and multi-valued (k,ψ)-Hilfer-type boundary value problems of fractional order in (1,2], subject to nonlocal boundary conditions involving (k,ψ)-Hilfer-type derivative and integral operators.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
