Queueing and Reliability Analysis of Unreliable Multi-server Retrial queue with Bernoulli feedback
Carpathian Journal of Mathematics, 2023The study consists of an unreliable multiserver retrial queue with feedback where clients may resist to join the orbit and the service provider is erratic. In this model we have considered c service providers at a time and if all the c servers are busy, the incoming clients wait in the retrial orbit. The model is unfolded using Matrix Geometric Method (

Asymptotic Analysis Methods for Multi-Server Retrial Queueing Systems
2020In this paper, we consider a multi-server retrial queueing system of type M/M/N. We propose the asymptotic methods for analysis of the system under long delay and heavy load conditions. Application areas of each method are defined and numerical examples are given.

Multi-server retrial queue with second optional service: algorithmic computation and optimisation
International Journal of Systems Science, 2011We consider an infinite-capacity M/M/c retrial queue with second optional service (SOS) channel. An arriving customer finds a free server would enter the service (namely, the first essential service, denoted by FES) immediately; otherwise, the customer enters into an orbit and starts generating requests for service in an exponentially distributed time ...

A multi-server retrial queueing model with Poisson signals
2021Summary: Retrial queueing models have been studied extensively in the literature. These have many practical applications, especially in service sectors. However, retrial queueing models have their own limitations. Typically, analyzing such models involve level-dependent quasi-birth-and-death processes, and hence some form of a truncation or an ...

This work deals with a possible model of a cell of cognitive radio architectures via a multi-server queueing system with two different types of requests and preemptive priority of one type of requests on the other. Service demands arrive according to Markovian Arrival Processes in order to capture traffic correlation.

We consider a multi-server queueing model with a finite buffer and requests arriving in connections. The number of requests in a connection is random and unknown at the connection initiation instant. Requests, which belong to the connection, arrive in accordance with a Poisson process.
