Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05. Corrosion weight‐loss measurements in 1 M HCl further demonstrated significant inhibition behavior, with only 100 ppm of [Li(G3)][TFSI] (∼68.5 μL/L) reducing corrosion‐product weight loss by 63 ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Smoothing of yield surfaces and a reformulation of multi-surface plasticity
In this work we describe a procedure for the smoothing of non-regular yield surfaces and plastic potential functions. We also present several application examples corresponding to different well-known cases. Moreover, we show that a multi-surface plasticity model can be reduced to a model with a single yield surface by using the same smoothing ...

Multi-surface plasticity model for analysis of complex interlocking assemblies
The drive for new masonry alternatives to energy-intensive, tensile-resistant ma-terials has led to complex interlocking geometries, but current design tools lack the structural insight to analyze these assemblies effectively. This paper presents Joint Layout Design (JLD), which extends multi-surface plasticity to model discrete, breakable ...

ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
