Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013This paper centers on EQ153 steering knuckle multi-directional forging forming, and applying Deform-3D to simulation the deformation process. According to temperature, effective strain, load prediction and final forging shape to illustrate in such a process a near-net-shape forming with no flash and little draft angle and lower pressure is been formed.

Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2011Abstract Nano-grain evolution in an austenitic stainless steel (SUS 316) during multidirectional forging (MDF) was investigated at temperatures of 77 K and 300 K.
