Encapsulated Non‐Exchangeable Na+ Ions Determining the Upper Limit of Al Inclusion in FAU—A Multiscale Simulation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 11, 9 March 2026.
DFT computation, AIMD simulations, machine learning, statistical analysis, and experimental characterization reveal that the upper limit of Al inclusion in FAU zeolite synthesized under hydrothermal conditions is determined by the encapsulated non‐exchangeable Na+ ions.

Yields of multicharged ions scattered and recoiled from a clean silicon surface.

open access: yes, 1994
This thesis investigates the basic interactions of energetic ions with the top atoms on a clean surface. This information is of relevance to impact collision ion scattering spectroscopy (ICISS) investigations of surface structure. Using a variety of ions

Dielectronic Recombination Measurements of Multicharged Ions [PDF]

open access: yesPhysica Scripta, 1988
Dielectronic recombination rates have been measured for several charge states of isoelectronic Li-like, Be-like, B-like and Na-like ions. We observed the amount of electron capture attending the passage of MeV/nucleon ion beams through a collinear, magnetically confined space-charge-limited electron beam as a function of relative energy.

Noncopper Photocatalysts for Visible‐Light‐Driven Conversion of CO2 into C2+ Products

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 2, March 2026.
Noncopper photocatalysts for visible‐light‐driven CO2 conversion to C2+ products with high production rates and selectivity have been reviewed and commented on, especially for the strategies to enhance photocatalytic efficiency. Photocatalytic CO2 fixation into value‐added chemicals can not only mitigate the greenhouse effect but also alleviate the ...

Positively Charged Polymers Based on Cyclodextrins for Trametinib and Selumetinib Delivery in Glioblastoma Cancer

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 3, 12 February 2026.
β‐cyclodextrin‐based multicharged polymers—linear or cross‐linked—enhance the delivery of mitogen‐activated protein kinase inhibitors (selumetinib, trametinib) in glioblastoma cells. These carriers enhance the antiproliferative effect of the drugs and strengthen extracellular signal‐regulated kinase pathway inhibition.

Multicharged Zwitterions form Superior Antifouling Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
Bolaamphiphilic multicharged sulfobetaine zwitterion forms self‐assembled monolayer for antifouling applications and vesicular aggregates for drug delivery applications. Abstract The long‐term prevention of unwanted protein and microbial accumulation on surfaces, including medical devices, remains a significant and largely unresolved challenge. Decades

Nuclear-polarization effect to the hyperfine structure in heavy multicharged ions

open access: yes, 2003
We have investigated the correction to the hyperfine structure of heavy multicharged ions, which is connected with the nuclear-polarization effect caused by the unpaired bound electron.
