On a q-analogue of the multiple gamma functions [PDF]
A $q$-analogue of the multiple gamma functions is introduced, and is shown to satisfy the generalized Bohr-Morellup theorem. Furthermore we give some expressions of these function.

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

Intravagal ectopic parathyroid adenoma: Challenging perioperative localisation
Introduction: Persistent hyperparathyroidism is usually due to a missed parathyroid adenoma, which can be located at variable though well-described locations within the neck and mediastinum due to the gland's embryological descent.

Random Matrix Models, Double-Time Painlev\'e Equations, and Wireless Relaying
This paper gives an in-depth study of a multiple-antenna wireless communication scenario in which a weak signal received at an intermediate relay station is amplified and then forwarded to the final destination.

Generalized Hölder's Theorem for Vignéras' Multiple Gamma Function
The multiple gamma function is defined by \[ G_r(z+1)= G_{r-1}(z) G_r(z),\;G_r(1)=1,\;{d^{r+1} \over dz^{r+1}} \log G_r(z+1)\geq 0 \] for \(z\geq 0,\;G_0(z)=z.\) The gamma function is therefore \(\Gamma(z)= G_1(z)\). Hölder proved that the gamma function does not satisfy any algebraic differential equation over the rational field \(\mathbb{C}(z)\).
