The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Dynamic response of multiple coplanar interface cracks between two dissimilar piezoelectric materials [PDF]
The linear piezoelectricity theory is applied to investigate the dynamic response of coplanar interface cracks between two dissimilar piezoelectric materials subjected to the mechanical and electrical impacts.

Transformation by Iontophoretic Microinjection of DNA: Multiple Integrations Without Tandem Insertions [PDF]
DNA transformations of mouse tissue culture cells and mouse embryos were carried out by iontophoretic microinjection of DNA. Iontophoresis involves the use of an externally applied electric current to expel DNA molecules from the injection micropipette into the impaled cell (microelectrophoresis). Restriction analysis of transformants obtained by using

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Scattering by one-dimensional rough surfaces
We consider the two-dimensional Dirichlet boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation in a non-locally perturbed half-plane. We look for a solution in the form of a double-layer potential using, as fundamental solution, the Green's function for the

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

A Novel Line Integral Transform for 2D Affine-Invariant Shape Retrieval
Radon transform is a popular mathematical tool for shape analysis. However, it cannot handle affine deformation. Although its extended version, trace transform, allow us to construct affine invariants, they are less informative and computational ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

A rough multiple Marcinkiewicz integral along continuous surfaces
By means of the method of block decompositions for kernel functions and some delicate estimates on Fourier transforms, the L-P (R-m x R-n x R)-boundedness of the multiple Marcinkiewicz integral is established along a continuous surface with rough kernel ...
